Consultant Reporting

The following information has been compiled by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and is published online for public inspection pursuant to Rhode Island Gen. Laws § 42-90-1(c):

Comprehensive Listing of State Consultants

In accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-90-1(a)(1), these reports contain the name of any person, private contractor, or vendor who performed legal, medical, accounting, engineering, or any other professional, technical, or consultant service for a state department, board, council, or agency on a contractual basis during the listed fiscal year.

OMB produces a separate report for each fiscal year, and each report is organized by agency, vendor, and natural account (the type of service). Note that a vendor who provides services to multiple agencies may be listed multiple times throughout the report.

The linked reports contain all required information for executive branch agencies.



Additional Information Regarding Vendors Performing Work in Replacement of State Employees

In accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-90-1(b), the tables list instances during each fiscal year in which a nongovernmental person or entity agrees with any department, commission, board, council, or agency, to provide services, valued at one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) or more, which are substantially similar to and in replacement of work normally performed by an employee of the department, commission, board, council, or agency.

Reporting by Public Corporations and Public Institutions of Higher Education

In accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-90-1(a)(1), the linked tables below contain the name of any person, private contractor, or vendor who performed legal, medical, accounting, engineering, or any other professional, technical, or consultant service for a public corporation on a contractual basis during the listed fiscal year.

Furthermore, in accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-90-1(b), the tables list instances during each fiscal year in which a nongovernmental person or entity agrees with the public entity to provide services, valued at one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) or more, which are substantially similar to and in replacement of work normally performed by an employee of the entity.
